Brief Description

This demanding trek in the Hunza Nagar area offers great views of Baintha Brak, the Hispar La and close ups of the Hispar Muztagh’s giants and distant K2 on a clear day. Rush Pari 4694m is turquoise lake on a ridge between the Hispar valley and Barpu Glacier with incredible mountain panoramas. In a 360 degrees sweep almost all the giant peaks of Hunza are visible. The strenuous two-day 1500m climb to the lake is done in conjunction with the Barpu Glacier trek. Because of the rapid elevation gain and the high altitude at Rush Pari with no options for alternative camp sites due to lack of water, one should do this trek only when previously acclimatized. Stages charged by porters make it expensive trek compared to other regions.
